Hadar is a village in Pierce County, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Norfolk, Nebraska Micropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 293 at the 2010 census. ==History== Hadar was platted in 1883 soon after the arrival of the railroad. The name Hadar is derived from a German word meaning "strife" or "discord",〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=German-English Dictionary: Hader )〕 and the town was so named when the original group of German pioneers could not agree on where to settle.〔〔 A (1925 edition ) is available for download at (University of Nebraska—Lincoln Digital Commons. )〕
